Food and Life Studies prove that 94 to 98% of all weight lost is gained back within a year to year and a half. Those that have lost weight and maintained the loss of weight have gone through an inner shift sometimes caused by a life changing event such as a career change, divorce, environmental change, and going internal to examine the root of the weight or health issue. This is why the Psychology of Eating is such an important part of weight loss, it looks to explore and heal the mind, body, and spirit. It helps one go from a negative body image to a more positive body image. It helps to release you from the constant calorie restriction into a more relaxed and pleasurable eating experience. It is when you step out of the stress response of eating and calorie restriction that your metabolism can correct itself for better fat burning. A new way to look at weight loss The Psychology of Eating looks at all areas of your life, your bio-circadian rhythm (when you eat), toxic beliefs, speed of eating, nourishment, macronutrients(balance between, healthy fats, carbs, and protein) embodiment(awareness), food allergies, family origin, family, work and so much more. So you can see it is not just calories in and calories out. Mentoring sessions start out with a 90 minutes session remaining sessions are 60 minutes. Number of sessions depend on the need.
